Joshua Adams is a staff writer at Colorlines. He’s a journalist from the south side of Chicago who also taught media and communication at DePaul University and Salem State University. He has a B.A. in African American Studies from the University of Virginia and an M.A. in Journalism from the University of Southern California. Joshua has written for publications like the Washington Post, The Guardian, USA Today, Chicago Mag, Longreads, Teen Vogue, Brooklyn Mag, PSMag, EBONY.com, OneZero, GEN, Level, Gamespot and more.
